Technology geek and #whiteraverrafting enthusiast Steve Aoki, uses a cameo by technologist Ray Kurzweil (Google’s Director of Engineering) to open the music video for “Singularity”. My Name is Kay’s vocals are the brightest spot in this dark futuristic story that has Aoki pulling Mass Effect-esque moves as hybrid Asian cyborg.
The video ends with “To Be Continued In… The Neon Future”. Neon Future is the title of Aoki’s next album and residency as Hakkasan Las Vegas.
“Singularity” is produced by Steve Aoki & Angger Dimas with vocals provided by My Name is Kay. The track was released in February on Ultra Records.
