Strobophagia : Rave Horror

As Halloween approaches we are bringing you news of this awesome new Indie game, Strobophagia. Strobophagia features a rave soundtrack that was completely produced by the Swedish developers of the game. It is said to be a classic survival horror through a psychedelic rave lens with macabre puzzles following twisted logic.

The developers have this to say about the game:

“Following a promise of the ultimate expression of freedom, you find yourself at the Headless Festival. However, that freedom comes at a cost as the organizers announce that the price of admission is the lives of all attendees. Find a way to escape, even as the forest itself appears to work against you. Try to maintain a grip on reality while logic takes a backseat. And whatever you do, stay away from the sinister presence in the darkness. Can you make your way out without losing yourself?”

The game seems to be designed to criticize our modern day and age. There is a strong emphasis on the smartphone in this game, with everyone stopping to stare at the screens all at once. This creates an eerie zombie-like state in appearance. There is also some sort of cult of celebrity happening here, with odd worshiping practice towards the DJ. Ultimately we feel this game will certainly be worth trying out.
