Goalie masks are perhaps one of the coolest parts of hockey as they reflect the team, goalie and city. The art on each mask has improved significantly over the years and this time the New York Rangers assigned Tiesto the responsibility of designing Henrik Lundqvist’s 2015 helm.
They’ve even converted the effort into a show, titled “The Mask with Henrik Lundqvist.” The mini-series airs on MSG Network in the Tri-state area and documents celebrities creating custom masks for Lundqvist to wear during games.
What’s special about this series is that afterwards the mask is donated to The Garden Of Dreams Foundation, which is a non-profit organization that works regularly with The Madison Square Garden to positively impact the lives of children.
