So sit back, enjoy your last bit of summer before Pumpkin Spice flavored everything rolls out, and Unwind your Mind with our featured selections.
No Way Back & Le Youth – “Back2Life”
Just released via Eclyspe Records two favorites have joined forces to create “Back2life” the track starts out with a simple kick drum and transitions into an array of upbeat tempo’d mix of R&B, hip-hop, funky soul and more making this the perfect track to end the summer with and get the crowd up and moving.
RL Grime – Core (TRAILS FLIP)
TRAILS has brought us some impressive Flume remixes in the past so we weren’t too surprised that his RL Grime flip would be nothing short of impressive. TRAILS takes this more bass happy hard hitting track and flips into into a synth-y melodic track adding an array of soft claps giving the track a whole new feel and vibe.
Toyboy & Robin ft. Tony Blaize – “Celebration”
Out now via Big Beat Records, this duo brings us another house melody with R&B vibes featuring vocals comparable to perfection from Tony Blaize. This soulful track will hit you right in the feels and remind you of that adventurous summer love.
Stalgia “In The Trees” – Andrew Luce Remix
Lauren Day’s smooth downtempo vocals stay highlighted in this Andrew Luce remix of this easy going track. His future bass additions and slow motion drops give this track something unique to the original and edit of the deep vocal chops add another element to make this his own. While it may be on the slower side of some of the other tracks we’ve featured this week it’s a perfect addition to wind down the weekend with.
Posso – Tidal Wave
Posso captures the classic house sound with these vocals. The all female duo definitely have a classy element about them, their music reflects this as well. The duo have played Summer Sonic Music Festival in Japan, Hellow Music Fest in Mexico, Pacific Fest in Orange County, including LA’s HARD Holy Ship; and given the sound of “Tidal Wave”, there will be more fun to come.
Ellie Goulding – “Something In The Way You Move (Downlow’d Remix)”
Downlow’d, who’s brought us such superb hits as “Buried (Radio Edit)”, a future house gem that hit at the peak of the future house movement, has another transformative release that completely blows away any other future house sounds right now. “Something In The Way You Move (Downlow’d Remix)” is a epic follow up to the talent we’ve seen from Downlow’d.
Always Never – “Ultimatum”
Newly formed and made up of producer Digy and vocalist KIRSCH Always Never brings us another forward thinking track to follow up their track “Together” which garnered over 3 million plays and toped Soundcloud’s dance chart. A beautifully done minimalistic R&B production that is emotionally chilling and defines the term Unwind the Mind. Keep your eye on this duo because they’re sure to bring us a lot more goose-bump inducing music.
