The new year is here, which means one thing. New songs, new artist and music development patterns to keep an eye on and appreciate! Unwind The Mind is here to deliver the chill side of EDM to you. From poppy melodic house tracks to melancholy downtempo; if it’s chill, if we like it, it’s here. Dive into this week’s goodies below.
Satchmode – Further Away (DIMES Remix)
DIMES has been on a roll lately, the artist, currently without a face to put to the name, has been unleashing well-versed house official remixes and gradually climbing. His latest remix’s most outstanding feature is it’s element of surprise. The tune’s quick-changing drum patterns and swift sampled vocals make a pop-house track with the perfect amount of dramatic atmosphere. Not to mention the OG melody is super fresh and very well mastered, “Further Away (DIMES Remix)” is a great anytime tune.
Adina Howard – Freak Like Me (Marc Adams & Aléjandro Remix)
Minimal house and classic 90s r&b vocals are like gold and diamonds, they just go together. Marc Adams & Aléjandro’s remix throws this plus some old school deep house vibes with a fresh, hypnotic beat together, creating “Freak Like Me (Marc Adams & Aléjandro Remix)”, Adina Howard is somewhere tipping her hat right now.
wvrd. -Untitled (Original Mix)
Last week wvrd. dropped a simplistic house song with a surprisingly strong melody that sinks in quick, this week he let another house tune out of the pound. With basslines and ambient horns seemingly dancing in harmony with one another, “Untitled” just feels right. The tune is far from boring at any moment.
Goldwash – But U Won’t
Often times music feels a bit over cluttered with talent. This is why I’m happy that I’ve stumbled upon a producer and composer named Goldwash. From his synths to vocals, his skill set has depth. Thank you for creating “Existential Funk” Goldwash.
Televisor – Remember Me By (Original)
Disco has always been something that touches my soul and Televisor has always had a knack for mixing disco vibes with his ultra vivid style. He once again impresses with the original “Remember Me By” which enhances the two fundamental elements tenfold.
Matchbox Orchestra – Morning Grace (Ft. Ben Cardilli)
Mr G Sings – Plan B
Dirty Soul has been killing it with the music selection lately. With “Mr G Sings – Plan B” now under their belt, their collection has only strengthened. Mr G Sings keep it simple, but translate a harmonious pure sound that hits you where you want.
