The XX – Angels (Budo Remix)

A staple in the Twin Cities hip-hop scene (by way of Rhymesayers) is transitioning into the world of self-created electronic dance beats and it’s proving to be another gift for us all. Budo, most notable for his work with Grieves and others like Atmosphere, Macklemore and Cunninlynguists, recently unfolded a serene rework of The XX’s “Angels”.

Budo’s remix is a glitchy composition with flickering hi-hats to set the mood over an angelic vocal focus.
