Jules Liesl just pulled a classic move: take a debut single that already hits, then hand it to a pair of producers who make it hit harder. James Hurr and Karsten Sollors’ remix of “Cherry” drops the sweetness and dials in the tribal bounce. Out now via Halogen, it’s the most club-focused addition to the project so far.
With a thick groove and cut-up vocal chops, the remix aims squarely at the dance floor. Hurr’s polished production meets Sollors’ underground sensibilities, and the result is something you can file between Toolroom releases and late-night peak sets.
It helps that both Hurr and Sollors have reputations that span beyond house-specific circles. Hurr’s credits include remixes for legends and an arsenal of Beatport-topping tracks. Sollors brings a decade of momentum across North America, Europe, and the queer festival circuit.
The remix lands alongside growing buzz: a 100K+ streaming debut, performances in front of 10K+ crowds, and a remix roster stacked with Grammy-nominated names. Jules is clearly making her entry count.
