This wouldn’t be the first time that Chicago-based producer DotEXE has amazed us all with his adeptness and prowess with remixing, having already made a name for himself in the electronic music scene by adding his signature touch to some prominent tunes. This time, Scott Stanley (the proprietor of the DotEXE alias), has returned with an impressive bootleg remix of Skrillex’ highly-energetic tune, “Ragga Bomb”, and it most definitely does not disappoint.
Fresh off of Skrillex’ highly-anticipated album, Recess, “Ragga Bomb” (featuring Ragga Twins) has received a lively, punchy, and vivacious Drum n Bass transformation. DotEXE manages to amplify and heighten the elements at the crux of the original, whilst still fusing in his own signature style, successfully adding a new layer of intensity to the tune. A conglomeration of vigorous, vehement percussion rhythms, an impactful, all-encompassing sub bass, as well as grooving melodies and catchy vocal hooks, this hard-hitting bootleg remix will undoubtedly satisfy the bass-cravings of dance music fans.
