Splice & Hellberg Present: “The Girl” Remix Competition

Are you an aspiring producer? This competition may be your once-in-a-lifetime opportunity! Monstercat’s Hellberg is teaming up with the cutting edge music platform Splice to host a remix contest for Hellberg’s recent hit progressive house single, “The Girl.” Using Splice’s open-source collaborative software, these aspiring artists will be able to acquire stems from the single itself and release their creative powers with their own skills.

So what will the future winner receive? The grand prize winner will get a Native Instruments Komplete and Kontrol package, as well as an official Monstercat release and course enrollment in the Point Blank Mixing and Mastering Program. There will also be a community prize awarded to the remix with the most votes, and this winner will receive an Izotope Creative Bundle as well as a Merchandise Bundle provided by Monstercat.

Monstercat is just as excited as the artists it hopes to draw in, saying “Monstercat has always been adamant in engaging our family and larger to community to put themselves out there and allow their voices to be heard. We know that there is so much talent out there and cannot wait to hear what people have in store for us.”

And they’re not the only ones who are looking forward to this content. Hellberg is ready to hear his track with other people’s creativity shining through: “A lot of you have been wanting to get your hands on the stems for this track and here’s your chance to show me and Monstercat what you’re made of.
